Making payments to your account: You can find details on how to make payments to your account here. Your new BPAY reference number is in your MyCard statement, but payments using your previous BPAY details will still be applied to your account.
Getting copies of your statements: You can download statements from November 2023 onward via the MyCard app or MyCard Online. For earlier statements, you can request them through chat with us in MyCard Online. Only the accountholder can view or request statements.

How to apply for a Credit Card
- Complete the online application form.
- If conditionally approved, we may ask for additional information or documents (such as payslips or bank statements) to verify your information.
- Your digital card will become available in the MyCard App straight after approval and can be added to your Apple, Samsung or Google wallet.
Your physical card should typically arrive within five to seven working days. Contact us if your card hasn’t arrived in that time. - Simply activate your card using the MyCard App or MyCard Online.
- Start using your card.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for a credit card, you must:
- Be 18 years old, or older.
- Have an Australian mobile number and valid email address.
- Be an Australian resident for tax purposes.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, an Australian Permanent Resident or a non-resident holding an acceptable Temporary Residency Visa.
The following Visa categories are not eligible for consideration:
- Visitor Visa (exception, a Special Category Visa - NZ Citizen is acceptable), Working Holiday, Student, Exchange/gap year, Transit/short stay/seasonal and Bridging.
What you need to have ready
You’ll need to have the following forms of ID ready to apply for a MyCard:
- Australian driver’s licence; and
- Australian or International passport.
- Medicare card.
Information you need to give us:
- Australian driver’s licence (if you have one).
- Your current employment status.
- Your income, before and after tax.
- What debts you owe, including personal loans, home loans and other credit cards.
- Your regular living expenses, including food and groceries, recreation, education and dependents, rent, medical and health, insurance, vehicle and transport.
How we assess your application
We’ll look at your credit profile and take steps to ensure you’re not given a product that isn’t right for you. This includes looking at your credit history, income, employment and expenses.

To receive the quickest decision, please ensure that you upload the requested verification documents at the end of the application form. Once we have your documents, we’ll respond to you as quickly as we can.
You can track the status of your application by contacting us and referencing the Application Reference Number (AFR) that we provide you after you’ve submitted your application.
Your Application Reference Number (AFR) will be displayed onscreen after you’ve submitted your application and emailed to you.
