  • The email will say that we reached out regarding a manual verification required for your account and that we have temporarily limited certain card features. They will provide a link for you to click to restore the features by completing a verification process.
  • Do not reply to the message, click the link or copy the URL into your browser and block the sender immediately.

Upcoming Complimentary Insurance changes

Effective 15 May 2026 – For some MyCard credit cards, International and Domestic Travel Insurance, and Rental Vehicle Excess Insurance (in Australia) will no longer be available.

Summary of cover

  • This insurance covers the amount of excess you are liable to pay under a vehicle rental agreement up to the maximum total limit of $5,000 for cards as set out below (until 14 May 2026 – please see Important Changes to Complimentary Insurances) and up to a maximum total limit of $10,000 for MyCard Prestige and Premier cardholders.
  • An excess of $100 applies to each claim payable under rental vehicle excess insurance in Australia.

Please note, if the rental vehicle used is in breach of the rental agreement or without a licence, you will not be covered.

Eligible purchases

Cover may be available for MyCard cardholders if the entire payment for the vehicle rental was charged to the accountholder’s card account and your rental vehicle agreement specifies an amount that is payable in the event the rental vehicle is damaged or stolen while in your custody.

The cover available begins when you collect the rental vehicle from the rental vehicle company or agency you have entered into a rental vehicle agreement with and ends when you return the rental vehicle to the rental vehicle company or agency or at the expiry of the rental vehicle agreement, whichever occurs earlier.
