Getting copies of your statements: You can download statements from November 2023 onward via the MyCard app or MyCard Online. For earlier statements, you can request them through chat with us in MyCard Online. Only the accountholder can view or request statements.​​

Policy information booklet

There are important changes to complimentary insurances available under certain eligible cards.

The MyCard Credit Cards Complimentary Insurance Policy Information Booklet will be updated for changes becoming effective 15 May 2026. These changes will apply to certain eligible cards for events occurring on or after this date.

From 15 May 2026, these changes include for certain cards:  

  • Re-classification of cards and the removal of the Level 2 Card classification;
  • Removal of International and Domestic Travel Insurance and Rental Vehicle Excess Insurance in Australia; and
  • Changes to the Limit of Travel Delay Expenses.

Changes effective 15 May 2026

1. Changes to Card Level classification

Certain Level 2 Cards will be reclassified to Level 3 Cards under Definitions. Please see the table below setting out the cards that fall under each Card classification on or after 15 May 2026.

Level 2 Card means a current and valid MyCard branded card of the following types issued by NAB:

  • MyCard Rewards Card (excluding previously Card Services Silver Rewards Mastercard)
  • MyCard Platinum Card; or
  • MyCard Platinum Qantas Card; or
  • MyCard Clear Card (Previously Card Services Platinum Low Rate Mastercard); or
From 15 May 2026
Level 2 Card is no longer a recognised category and removed.

Level 3 Card means a current and valid MyCard branded card of the following types issued by NAB:

  • MyCard Clear Card (excluding Card Services Platinum Low Rate Mastercard); or
  • MyCard Simplicity Card; or
  • MyCard Plus Card; or
  • MyCard Rewards (previously Card Services Silver Rewards Mastercard)
From 15 May 2026

Level 3 Card means a current and valid MyCard branded card of the following types issued by NAB:

  • MyCard Rewards Card: or
  • MyCard Platinum Card; or
  • MyCard Platinum Qantas Card; or
  • MyCard Clear Card; or
  • MyCard Simplicity Card; or
  • MyCard Plus Card.

2. Removal of International and Domestic Travel Insurance, and Rental Vehicle Excess Insurance in Australia

The cards below (Level 3 Cards) will no longer have complimentary International and Domestic Travel Insurance, and Rental Vehicle Excess Insurance in Australia on or after 15 May 2026:

  • MyCard Rewards Card (excluding previously Card Services Silver Rewards Mastercard)
  • MyCard Platinum Card
  • MyCard Platinum Qantas Card
  • MyCard Clear Card (previously Card Services Platinum Low Rate Mastercard)

This means you’ll need to make your own alternative insurance arrangements to be covered on or after 15 May 2026.

3.  Changes to Travel Delay Expenses

For the cards below, the Limit for International Travel Insurance in 3.2 Travel Delay Expenses under Part C – Benefit Limits and Part E – The Cover Available will be updated to include a claim limit for every 24 consecutive hour period after 6 consecutive hours of delay.

  • MyCard Premier Card

After 6 consecutive hours delay, up to $500 per person for meals and accommodation expenses up to a maximum total limit of $2,000 per cardholder or spouse. Dependants are included in the limit available to the cardholder or spouse.

From 15 May 2026

After 6 consecutive hours delay, and for each subsequent 24 consecutive hour period thereafter, up to $500 per person for meals and accommodation expenses up to a maximum total limit of $2,000 per cardholder or spouse. Dependants are included in the limit available to the cardholder or spouse.

Section 3.2 Travel Delay Expenses

3.2.1 What we cover

We will pay up to the amount specified in Part C – Benefit Limits – 3.2 Travel Delay Expenses at the end of the initial 6 consecutive hour period.
From 15 May 2026
We will pay up to the amount specified in Part C – Benefit Limits – 3.2 Travel Delay Expenses at the end of the initial 6 consecutive hour period and for each subsequent 24 consecutive hour period thereafter.

 

What does this mean for travel?

Date of claimable event before 15 May 2026

For cardholders of the below cards who meet eligibility, claims are assessed according to the MyCard Credit Card Insurance Policy Information Booklet in effect on the date of the claimable event.

  • MyCard Rewards Card (excluding previously Card Services Silver Rewards Mastercard)
  • MyCard Platinum Card
  • MyCard Platinum Qantas Card
  • MyCard Clear Card (previously Card Services Platinum Low Rate Mastercard)

Date of claimable event on or after 15 May 2026

For cardholders of the below cards who meet eligibility and the claimable event is on or after 15 May 2026, claims will be assessed according to the new MyCard Credit Cards Complimentary Insurance Policy Information Booklet (PDF, 546KB) you will no longer be covered by International and Domestic Travel Insurance, or Rental Vehicle Excess Insurance in Australia.

  • MyCard Rewards Card (excluding previously Card Services Silver Rewards Mastercard)
  • MyCard Platinum Card
  • MyCard Platinum Qantas Card
  • MyCard Clear Card (previously Card Services Platinum Low Rate Mastercard)

Cardholders with the below cards who meet eligibility and the claimable event is on or after 15 May 2026, if your travel is delayed for at least 6 consecutive hours, and then for each additional 24 consecutive hours after that, you can claim up to $500 per person for meals and accommodation. The total claim is capped at $2000 per card holder or spouse (dependants included in this limit).

  • MyCard Prestige Card
  • MyCard Premier Card
